Reno Area Wrenchfest??

Featured Replies

So HOPEFULLY, Mudrat is gonna bring my stuff down to Chico this weekend, so after that I'm gonna need some help installing it into the Brat, so is there anyone in the area that wants to help? We can work on a few cars as I know NVZeno has some things to fix too. We'll be working in an actual GARAGE! courtesy of my sister, and I will buy lunches for all who help. This will hopefully happen within the next 2 or 3 weekends, but if not thats cool too it can wait till the 12th of February as well. Lets get it goin.

I'm just far enough away to not feel guilty about helping!

Good Luck,

HAHA thats cruel! Jibs I can lend a hand.... I only live 30 seconds from you! What time are we heading down to Chico to pick the parts up?

I'd rather go snowboarding!

If John has your tranny done, i'll be more than happy to come help tho.

Bump. If everything goes well, does anyone wanna help me install my transmission next weekend of the 17-18th? I should have my parts by then.

I'll be free I think. Dave should come too and we can get his new struts on also.

How about we get together anyway? I'm sure we all have something to tweak or replace on our cars (I certainly do... ).

Well so much for the nice weather. I just woke up to 2" of snow! Dang it!

Yeah I was talkin to Jeremy last night and he's gonna come by and help with Lifted. So which day is better this weekend for you Zeno? We can work in my sister's garage, so the weather shouldn't matter too much.

Either day or both. I'm a fair-waether skier, so working on cars in a garage is preferable to freezing on the Sky Chair when it stops halfway up the mountain (bbrrrr...) during a snowstorm:rolleyes: .

Haha yeah I used to be like that. It seems the older I get the colder I get.

I wont be able to make it anywhere this weekend. I should be wrapping up my motor and dropping it in Sunday. The weekend after next Im trying to get up there so me and Jibs can hit the moonrocks.

Yeah, me too. Living in the middle of it all has it's perks, like being able to pick and choose at a moment's notice when to hit the slopes:grin:  (last Sunday was AWESOME).

Back on "subjeck", are we still wrenchin'?

Yeah Dave its on. How bout sunday? Meet at 10 AM. My sisters place is up off of socrates. Name a spot to meet.

OK, sounds good to me. I'll get directions from you in PM on Friday or Saturday.

Saturday might be a good day to ski, but our seaon passes aren't good this weekend:( , on account of the Washington's Birthday holiday.

Maybe Pick-N-Pull?

  • Author

Pick and pull doesn't have too much right now. I was just there like a week ago. I just checked my season pass and mines not good either. We could do somethin though.

Definitely, in a garage no less.!

oh, i thought it was gonna be outside in what is supposed to be at least a foot of snow!!! that would've been fun!!!
