Featured Replies

I finally got some free outback springs and struts from friend and put them on my legacy. the fronts went it fine but the backs needed modification. here are the pics, just painted it black...let me know what you think. can figure out how to paste link in? so heres the gallery http://photobucket.com/albums/v418/dviperlev8/subie%20lift/

edit: I have about 8.5" of ground clearance in the front and just about 10 in the back

nice rig! looks like it would be awesome offroad:brow:

where are you in NY? i`m in Walden, over by Newburgh NY

wow that is a mean legacy!! i like the black paint. but that bumper, just screems out bite me.

Hey Man, we`ll have to meet up sometime, i have 2 BRATS and a 4x4 GL sedan coming soon, one of them will get lifted:grin:

yeah i made the bumper gaurd myself...I work in a metal shop and had some free time(and metal) on my hands. Its pretty strong and should prevent damage from brush and other things i might encounter off roading. I need to add a little more support to it then it will be finished. i am thinking if just redoing the whole bumper as metal though... thanks for the comments everyone

So how do you like the ride with the Outback springs? Is it kinda stiff in a harsh way, or just a bit more firm? The car looks good in that flat black. And it's good to see a fresh design in a brush guard.

the ride has improved, not too stiff at all ( a little firmer). My old struts were on there way out, but these seem to be perfect.

Thanks, I appreciate the info. I might be changing to the OB springs when I get some time.
