rear brake rotors

Featured Replies

my rear rotor is stuck on and their are 2 bolt holes to put a bolt in and press it off. what size/threads should i use.

M8x1.25

also make sure the parking brake is off.

the bolt that you take off to get the caliper up is the same size at least on mine.

where could i get these bolts. would a hardware store have them.

You might also try loosening the parking brake adjuster. On the inside (back) side of the backing plate near the bottom there should be a rubber cover. Pull that off and with a flat blade screwdriver spin the gear looking thing up.

... You'll just need to re-adjust it when putting things back together..
