December 26, 200619 yr It was the driver side HG and they are replacing under powertrain warr. How much work do they have to do to replace it? Quite a lot actually. The will replace both headgaskets (at least the dealer where i got my engine rebuilt was doing both). That means strippping down the engine to the block. Its funny how small the engine is once they get it that far stripped. nipper

Seems to be running well and does not leak coolant any more. They added the cooling system conditioner? I thought a '03 EJ25 would be out of the recall calling for the conditioner?:-\
