I searched some threads but couldnt find my problem in them.91 legacy 2.2 Have a problem with a leak on top of engine under intake on drivers side. I can see coolent pooling on back of engine at bell housing. Wetness seems to becomming from under A/C somewhere but i cant see under it.What is up there that can leak? slow leak.

might be a coolant line, not very familiar with your engine set up.

 

there is also the intake manifold which has two gaskets on it that can leak. they look much harder to replace than they really are.

 

with engine warm and running look under there and increase the RPM's in neutral and have a look. use flashlights/mirrors whatever helps to get a look at it. be nice to use compressed air to blow any debris/pooled up water out of the way.

sounds like it may be as simple as a heater hose.

Can't find it with a light. Anyone know where i could get one of those test caps garages use to put preasure in cooling system to find leaks? Or has anyone made one out of old rad cap and stuff? HMMMMMMM
