May 8, 200619 yr does this make you redneck? "If your tires and wheels cost more than your vehicle you might be a redneck" 95 bucks a pop for 27X9.50X15 super swampers=380 100 for four steel rims 480 so far.but you need a lift or cutting to fit so plus 350 unless you make it. so then you have 830 in wheels ,tires, and lift on a $600 subi Plus. repairs
May 8, 200619 yr holy crap! where did you get swampers for under 100 bucks each???? hook me up mine was about equal... impreza= $395+tax/reg 215/75 R15 BFG A/Ts @ 110 ea mounted (approx)
May 9, 200619 yr actually swampers are comparably cheap. mine were like 85 or something a piece. check 4wheelparts, not sure what they are now, but they were pretty cheap..
May 9, 200619 yr it's not redneck if your not trying to compensate for other inadequant elsewhere if you are then it is redneck!!
May 9, 200619 yr Austin - I agree, 4wheelparts.com has cheap swampers. I bought the 28's for 79 a piece. I don't think you're a redneck for soending more than what you paid for a soob in extras. Hell, I got my lifted Brat for free, so I spent more in gas getting it home than I put into buying it.
May 9, 200619 yr Author if I had little-wongleflute syndrome would I drive a "little" brat? 'sides those mods are to beable to go places...

May 9, 200619 yr I'd say your a redneck if you spend $XXXXX.xx on your "Offroad" rig, and it is never seen with mud splats on the hood/glass/roof... Or does that have a different name?

May 9, 200619 yr i live in a small mountain town. it is FULL of lifted chevys, fords, dodges, etc. many monster trucks here, but none of them get dirty. the toyota drivers here are different. 95% of them are muddy all the time. and i am the only subaru enthusiast here. pretty soon there will be a lifted subaru here too. theres an overly done amc eagle hatchback here too.
May 9, 200619 yr I've spent around $3500 dollars on my $850 dollar wagon. I couldn't be happier. Plus when I sell it I'll have a huge list of mods that will help me get something back out of it. Having a unique and Awesome vehicle is worth any price.
