May 30, 200619 yr Stock size for a 2WD was most likely 165/70r13's.... But you have a carbed EA82, with a 3 speed auto, and the heaviest of the body types (wagon). You are lucky it can get out of it's own way..... with a running start! Get a WEBER. GD
May 30, 200619 yr It should be noticeable. I switched from 175/70's to 185/70's and noticed a decrease in acceleration. If you are running steel rims, you may want to find a set of alloys, those will also make a noticeable difference. -Brian

May 30, 200619 yr Really not all that noticeable - but your speedo will be accurate again, and your mileage will increase. Again - if you want power, for the price of a set of tires, you can put on a Weber and keep the tires you have. GD
May 30, 200619 yr There's a 2.38% difference in overall diameter between the 185/70/13 and the 175/70/13. I don't think it's going to make a huge (or even noticable) difference.
