Tire Size

Featured Replies

Stock size for a 2WD was most likely 165/70r13's....

But you have a carbed EA82, with a 3 speed auto, and the heaviest of the body types (wagon). You are lucky it can get out of it's own way..... with a running start!

Get a WEBER.

It should be noticeable. I switched from 175/70's to 185/70's and noticed a decrease in acceleration. If you are running steel rims, you may want to find a set of alloys, those will also make a noticeable difference.

Yeah I Already Bought 5 Aluminum Ones And The Car Came With 185's And I Was Reading The Manual And It Says Use 175's So I was Wondering If There Would Be A Big Difference

Really not all that noticeable - but your speedo will be accurate again, and your mileage will increase.

Again - if you want power, for the price of a set of tires, you can put on a Weber and keep the tires you have.

There's a 2.38% difference in overall diameter between the 185/70/13 and the 175/70/13. I don't think it's going to make a huge (or even noticable) difference.
