June 17, 200619 yr the wagon is an 86 carbed gl, new engine, minimal smog junk,no oxygen sensor,doesn't want to idle below 900rpm.&the dash egr lite will not go off. have tried 3 diff carbs, 2 different egr valves,1 vacuum solenoid,sprayed ether at all hose joints trying to find vacuum leak to no avail.can't figure out where the egr lite is getting it's signal from.have disconnected battery several times trying to get ecm to reset,no go, am getting a tad frustrated, any ideas will be tried THANKS DAN
June 17, 200619 yr Doesn't have an computer. EGR light is mileage controlled - you have to switch a couple of green? connectors under the dash and it will go out for another 60k miles. GD
June 17, 200619 yr let me guess......you just rolled over 180k miles a couple days ago.....and as previously stated, its milegae controlled. maybe you should have come to us sooner...that way you didnt have to pull and replace all those carbs and EGR stuff, kinda makes you mad that its just 2 little wires huh? ~Josh~

June 18, 200619 yr Hahahah My Egr Light Wont Go Out Either. And I Putr A Weber On It, And Took Off All My Emissions.. Stinn Nuthing So I Decided A Small Slab Of Electrical Tape Ota Do The Trick
