July 3, 200619 yr i think i lost about... 1-2" in the back...but it also protects the bumper cover from being ripped off when going through heavier stuffs...

July 3, 200619 yr I have the hidden-hitch on our MY01 Outback Ltd., no complaints and minimal ground clearance issues. Easy to install.
