Mystery Filter?

Featured Replies

What is the filter that is clamped next to the battery (between the engine and battery)? It looks like it comes out of the trans cooler and is bolted to the frame . I know about the inline one that was a mod. I see that one. Is the replacement a fuel filter sure looks like one? Some kinda retro fit? Thanks

i think ur talking aboutt he fuel filter does it have two lines coming out of it?

Depends which filter you're looking at. If you're talking about the one on the top of the strut, it's the fuel filter. If you're looking at the ground, I believe it's a transmission fluid filter.

Between the battery and the engine (right next to the radiator) would be the transmission fluid filter.

The fuel filter has thick hoses going from it to the engine itself.
