Part Number Needed

Featured Replies

I accidently dropped my car off a floor jack and bent my passenger's side inner tie rod. The car is an 84 GL turbo with power steering. Does anyone have a parts catalog or work at a dealer?

Hopefully this works. Click here.537044.jpg

It's from napa. NCP2692558 You'll need the boot kit...well...should get it.

Or just use a hammer and straighten it? Just get it realigned...if you use the hammer method....but ultimately replace it. People will argue whether it's a good idea or not...I've done it to my wagon ...drove it for a couple thousand miles with the hammer fix. But I replaced it for safety measures.

Parts America is affiliated with several chain auto parts stores, including Advance Auto and I believe Checker Auto...

If you go to the site and choose your vehicle, at some point it will ask you for your zip code so it can point you to the stores closest to you. I use the site pretty much every time i need to get parts for anything, look it up, print the page, than go to my local outlet and order it thru them - sometimes even get a better price too! :)

had to replace one of mine not too long ago for the same reason - bent after hitting a deer... good luck, and use those jack stands!!

Hmmm, looks like Parts America carries Moog parts. I think I'll go for those. Kinda spendy, but worth it I think.
