LX 4 spokes, and rear disc's

Featured Replies

Was wondering if anyone out there has run the LX 4 spokes on a car with rear discs. I had a problem when I was useing one of these wheels as a spare on my EA82, it was rubbing on the front caliper, but was wondering if it would cause a problem with the rears on my 84. I just asking before hand because I like these rims, but they are not in my presents at the moment, and don't want to go through the trouble of getting them if they are going to be a problem. And I definatly don't want to be grinding on a mag wheel. Here is a picture of the wheel in question:

Adam, this won't answer your question but may help. I tried a EA81 style white spoke on the front of my XT-T and it wouldn't fit but did fit fine over the rear disc brakes. You could always grind away at the caliper if need be.

Ohkay, kewl. I'll hafta head over there next week end get em. Then I jes gotta get my BFG's mounted on em. I put a lot of work into them before I went to Egypt, took off the old clearcoat, polished em up, repainted the black part of em, they look really good, I even have all the center caps for em.
