njdrsubaru
ok ok sorry for cursing, but i cant find the origin of the leak, i've checked the sunroof drains, the HVAC drain, the firewall for wetness and the ruber grommets around the doors and all the cables in and out of the car. SO I HAVE WET CARPETS ON DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE!!!!!!!!!! back in July i had my windshield replaced because of a branch that fell. i checked everywehere for a leak on the windshield seal and nothing. Does anyone have an Idea where that water is coming from? its the second time its happened and everytime right after a rain storm. Make sure the drains for the fresh air intake is clear. Make sure the fenders are clear of debree at the door jambs. Open up the door drains too while your at it. nipper
njdrsubaru
ok I found our problem!!! for most of you that had your windshield replaced or have worked around the wiper linkages.... when they replaced my windshield they had to get the cowl cover out of the way to remove and install the windshield, so.... the clips at the ends that holds the cowl in place must be resealed once removed or you'll have water leaking right into the HVAC air intake, so i sealed that hole and the other ones under the plastic cover and it worked!! Also make sure to remove your FAN behind the glove box and stick your hand in there and pull the leaves and crap that is in the a/c condenser, i had alot of crap in there and it was smelly, yuk!! then put everything back together and enjoy a leak free car. :-p
