October 11, 200619 yr Author I'm planning on having breakfast at the Red Barn Restaurant (just 1/10 mile west of exit 88) around 7am. I hate to eat alone. Great food and lots of it here.
October 12, 200619 yr If I get the 96 running (darn cooling sensor problem), I might run down for the last event of 2006 (spectator only).
October 12, 200619 yr put me down as a maybe on the breakfast, I would need to leave my place at about 5:00 to be there by 7:00
October 12, 200619 yr Author put me down as a maybe on the breakfast, I would need to leave my place at about 5:00 to be there by 7:00Yea, that's about right; I need to leave home at 5:15 to get there by 7am. I just don't like to rush breakfast and it gets enough calories into my system for a good run on times.
October 12, 200619 yr Author If I get the 96 running (darn cooling sensor problem), I might run down for the last event of 2006 (spectator only). If you can meet me somewhere along the way, you're welcome to ride down with me if you like. Heck, you might even want to run my car just for grins.
October 12, 200619 yr If you can meet me somewhere along the way, you're welcome to ride down with me if you like. Heck, you might even want to run my car just for grins. Thanks for the offer, but I need to get my car back on the road, if it isn't fixed on Saturday, I'll still be working on it on Sunday.
October 13, 200619 yr It appears that this event has been postponed until further notice.Where did you hear that? The web site still has it listed for this Sunday. Never mind, I found it, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1105398 .
October 13, 200619 yr Author Yes, Erik posted the cancellation notice on both nasioc and special stage. Hopefully, they will reschedule soon. I was really looking forward to this one.
October 13, 200619 yr I'd have asked for Saturday instead so I could enter my inp in the mud drags. . . Zap - how were you gonna pull 14-16" of mud with 10" of clearance? :-\ Now, 6-8" deep I'd join you! Bill

October 14, 200619 yr while i do feel bad about the families plight, this means i have a shot at attending a non local event
October 14, 200619 yr Author while i do feel bad about the families plight, this means i have a shot at attending a non local eventDepending on when it is, if you need a place to "crash" before heading home we'd have room for you here (Bothell, WA) for one night. Worst case, you'd have to sleep in our RV.
October 15, 200619 yr i'm more worried about the night before but i will keep that in mind...thank you
October 15, 200619 yr Author i'm more worried about the night before but i will keep that in mind...thank youSame room is available the night before; I'll even make sure you're up in time to get there!
October 24, 200619 yr Author any updates on this event? No, not as yet; although the family emergency seems to be over. We should hear in a few days.
October 25, 200619 yr i only have a window of opportunity of about another two weeks to decide as i've switched jobs and vacation pay can only go so far when it comes to cars and travels
November 4, 200619 yr Author Sadly, the last PRG event that was post-phoned recently, is now officially cancelled. I understand it was a family emergency that caused the post-phonement and I'm not surprised to hear that it will not be put on this year. A full schedule of 8 events next year looks like it is in the planning stages. So I guess the last rallycross event of the year in this area will be at Subiefest. More details could be had at http://www.subiefest.com/. That should be a fine course design since it will be put on by Paul Eklund.
November 4, 200619 yr Word has it that the event will be held in the same corner the original NWR event was held in 2004. Pretty rough unless some work has been done there by the track prior to this. We'll see as I will be there. Chances are the Brat will be making another appearance as I don't want to wreck the Impreza. But, the skid plate should be strong enough to handle it. We'll see.
November 4, 200619 yr I emailed Paul Eklund aobut the RallyX at Subiefest. Tech starts at 8:45 and first car out will be about 9:30.
