Which car made it up the steep sand slopes??? the Subaru!

 

83 MY, EA81 with EA82 manifold and larger type EA81 carb, 2" Lift (mostly homemade with aluminium blocks), LT (read van) tyres, welded diff, and cut fenders.

 

Late model Landcruiser with suspension lift and MTs.

Note: The Pajero with the diff locker did better than mine though :-\

 

what more can I say, I am pleased :headbang: lots of fun was had at Derado Downs, South Australia.

 

now... time for some better tyres me thinks.
