October 31, 200619 yr i have a '94 legacy awd that i absolutly love but its an A/T which sucks.....so i have tried to sell it, but it has some body damage so no one went for it. I guess my question is A; do i keep it and put a 5 speed tranny in it?? ... or B; take the motor out and use it for my lifted rig?? HELP??????? thanks, nathan
October 31, 200619 yr Have you tried to sell it in the major urban areas, Seattle or so? People there actually prefer automatics I've found. The only way I managed to get rid of an old Honda Accord I had. I'd put the engine in the lifted rig though....

October 31, 200619 yr here's how to sell a car in the city: make it look nice, who cares what the engine is like. most potential customers don't believe the "easy" fix mentality. if it was *that* easy, then you'd do it. you think "it's easy". they think "what else is wrong with it that i *don't* know about?".
October 31, 200619 yr Just put the door and fender on it. You have access to Subaru forums that would allow you to find this very easily and cheaply. And its so easy to do, so just do it. That'll make your car worth much more.
