Symptons: Starts fine, runs fine, but idle stays around 1100 when warm UNLESS I put in N or P for a second or 2. When shifted to N or P idle goes up to 1500, then settles down to normal warm idle ~ 700rpm with in a couple seconds.

Well I'd rule out the O2 sensor. Either of the other two sensor's

could give your problem. Check and clean the connectors on the

TPS and coolant temp sensor. Also check the the idle bypass solenoid

(also known as idle air control valve ) and clean it with something made

for it, not everyday carb cleaner or lacquer thinner.
