who is running some, and how do you like them? main usage?

I already fabbed some up out of some old junkers but I am just kinda chicken to install them.

car is already loud as f*ck due to catless 2.5" with a small muffler so noise cant get much worse.

It's not the noise - it's the vibration that will suck. Dangerous to other parts of the machine unless you are purpose building it with everything else rubber mounted..... perhaps look into retrofitting some STi urethane units....

Just to help... I have a friend that got a Hatchback Subie EA81, who has fab. solid engine mounts, and the car became with a weird fellin` almost like you`re drivin` some old VW Beetle... Vibration is high, but also a li`l noisy.

 

He is waitin` for the new mounts to come at the Dealer this December.

 

The fact is that you can drive it with solid mounts, but then you`ll be bored with So much Vibration.
