my gas pedal sticks

Featured Replies

um ya the thread title says it all my gas pedal gets very stiff when it's cold it's been doing it for to long for the cable to be frayed, the reason is it only happens when it's cold outside it never does it in the summer but it's not summer anymore. i think it's just that some idiot(me) put the wrong lube on it i'm looking for suggestions to clean it out and relube the cable so it won't stick

thanks

Best for you probly to get a new one.I would spray it down with some silicone lube.Something that repels moisture.

WD40, Marvel Oil, or similar brands should work there as Jerry said.

I suggest to take the cable out, and clean it strongly with that penetratin` oil that repels moisture.

Good Luck! :)
