so i recently picked up a set of 505 pugs and ive been reading about the peugeot lugs that are special. is it completely necessary to have a set of these lugs with the alloys? any info would be appreciated. if i do need to find a set of these i want to do it soon so i can throw my snow tires on

If you have the alloys, you'll find the lug holes don't have a steel insert. Using "normal" lugnuts can wear out the holes causing the wheels to mount wobbly with age. Steel wheels shouldn't be a problem. The pug lugnuts are two piece and the threaded portion can tighten down on the contact portion without wearing out the hole un-necessarily.

Just drop by a tire shop - they can hook you up with some single peice lug nuts that will work.
