I know of a 5 speed D/R that is for sale but the guy does not have any info on what the trans came out of. Is there a way to ID the diff gearing on it and any way to tell if it came from a turbo or N/A? I have a 5 speed D/R out of a turbo coupe w/ 3.7 gearing but I need the 3.9s and a N/A trans. Any way to ID these things before I drop the chunk of change???

Count the splines on the front outputs - 23 is an NA trans, and 25 is a turbo. If it's 23 you can be pretty sure it's a normal D/R.
