Saying good by to my brat

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody This is Jerry, well i said good by to my 86 blue brat today as it is going to Iowa. Shawn Watson bought it and he is going to have it repaired. I hope he has as much fun with it as i did. Like i have said before my wife has an outback and it is class to drive but the brat is a blast to drive. I am still looking and when i find another i will buy it. Wow i really mis driving that brat. Thanks Jerry

Well Jerry, I'm glad you found a good home for it. Having to part it out would have been too painful.---Brian

Cheer up Jerry. I'm sure you'll find another sometime... and you gave it up to caring hands I'm sure! Take it easy- Caleb

How did it get transported? Did Shawn come out, or is he due to?

Hi eric This is Jerry, no Shawn didn't come to Washington but he has a friend that flew out here. My wife met him and then started the long drive back. Thanks Jerry

No worries, Its too clean to give up to the rust gods. Even formerly wrecked this is cherry for a midwest Subaru.

I may have to drive it on the salty streets ONCE to get it salvage inspected but I hope not.

This will be one Spoiled Brat, like always.

Well I drove it tonight. But it was only for the salvage inspection. It passed!

Lucky for the Brat it was raining all afternoon and I think all of the salt has pretty much been washed down into the sewers. Even so I had to rinse it down. Standing outside in 33 degree temps rinsing off a Brat for fear it might rust someday.....yes I love this Brat.

Spoiled all its life, why stop now!
