Quidam
Hey, Custom tubular headers have been made before for the Justy, I'm sure. Do you know anyone that actually makes or sells them? I don't. So, I've sourced all the parts to make them. If I do I'm making one for me, one for a friend, and one to put up for sale. The only part not off the shelf will be the header flange, where the tubing bolts to the cylinder head. Any thoughts, ideas, opinions that you may have on this I would appreciate. I really don't want to make them if someone allready does. Don't want to re-invent the wheel. Thanks, Doug
nipper
I am 99% sure you wont be reinventing the wheel. If you do make it too free flow you may loose bottom end torque and gain horsepower and top end. We are talking a justy here, so there is not a lot of hidden horse power or torque to be found. nipper
RenaissanceMan
The fuel injected Justy came with the most bad @$$ cast manifold I have ever seen. I too though about making a custom header for it, but the fuel injection stock manifold couldent have asked for anything more other than maybe cleaning up some of the casting edges. An air hammer will do wonders on that cat that it bolts up to though... In all honesty I tried with that engine. The Delta Camshaft was somewhat of a disappointment. I did some porting work on the head. Either put on a turbo or get a different car is what I concluded.
