cyberbackpacker
DO you know or think a spec b set of seats would fit in a BD without issue?
NoahDL88
Probably would, those EJ's are all pretty similar, you may have to swap rails, but thats an easy job. The Spec B will probably have seat airbags, which you won't need in the 95, so i'd reccomend taking them out for safety, you should also be able to get a good price for them if you sell em, but shipping is hard on those as they are technically a pyrotechnic device. Can they actually be removed? i know when they go off they tear the seat. He can just leave them alone and tabe up the connections to them and be ok. nipper
cyberbackpacker
Yeah, I had planned on just keeping the wiring taped and unmolested. Without a charge, I thought they would be fine-- i.e. deactivated. My main concern is the back seat. I figure I could make the fronts work, but do not want to be left with gaps like are common when swapping in wrx/sti seats. Can they actually be removed? i know when they go off they tear the seat. NoahDL88
The reason i advocate removing them is that static electricity can cause them to deploy. Doesn't take much voltage to ruin your day.
