I doubt you need bushings. You probably need to mod the roll-pin hole in the shift rod. Do a search for "4 speed slop". That should get you some applicable threads.

ill check out the 4-speed slop. the car does have 215k miles on it, im not sure how long the bushings last. THanks man

Skips post showed how to modify your linkage to make a short throw. There isn't going to be anything aftermarket for it.

WELL ODDLY ENOUGH, WHILE I WAS LOOKING AT THE BUSHINGS, I DECIDED TO REPLACE THE CLUTCH CABLE, AND NOW SHE GOES IN GEAR LIKE NEW!!! WELL ILL BE A GREASE MONKEYS UNCLE!!!!!!
