Cylinder number one is the nearest the front of the car on the passenger side, right?

Front passenger is #1 cylinder

Firing order is 1 3 2 4

Distribution rotation is counterclockwise

Yes

is the dizzy properly timed to the crank and cam??

Remember that there are TWO TDC's of the #1 cylinder, needs to be @ TDC of the compression stroke.

(With the timing marks at 0, both cam lobes for the #1 cylinder should be up)

CalebZ told me a trick.. the #1 is always furthest forward on pretty much ANY engine.

Thats a good way to remember it. I gave up for the night. I will play with it again tomorrow. Thanks for all the imput guys!

Still can't get it to start? Wore down the battery. Charging now.
