March 5, 200719 yr I bought a pair of these on ebay for my '97 Impreza wagon. Having removed the plastic insert in the bumper I can't figure out how to mount them in there. It's obvious to me that the previous owner had dinked around with the brackets and one or both of the foglights might be mounted up-side down. In any event, does anyone have information on mounting them or could drop me a picture of how yours are mounted ('97 to '01 only since the pre-'97 are vastly different)? Am I missing some other pieces here as well as another plastic surround for the lamps since they are smaller than the opening in the bumper?

The old blanks + a dremel = homemade ghetto surrounds. may look ok if you take your time and make straight lines with nice curved edges on the corners.

March 14, 200719 yr Author Here are the parts and p/n's needed for the mounting brackets and surrounds for the foglamps for the '97 to '99 Impreza: Right side bracket 57790FA220 Left side bracket 57790FA230 Right Surround H4517FA023 Left Surround H4517FA024 By the way, I found a Left side surround at the wrecking yard which I don't need since I bought new. $10 plus shipping will take it away.
