91 Subaru sports sedan ?

Featured Replies

There is a 91 Legacy Sports sedan with 5spd, turbo on Ebay and according to the description, there was only 15 of the 5 speeds shipped to the U.S.

Is this correct that there was only a few hundred sports sedans and only 15 with the five speeds.

In my small town in Colorado, there are three, mine with the five speed and ...I don't know about the other two, but will keep in mind to check.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks,

Mike

Those number may be accurate, they mention "shipping in", meaning made in Japan?

I know mine was assembled in Indiana and therefore not one of those mentioned.

yeah, but is yours a turbo? Most (all?) of the n/a Legacies are made in the US, but I think all the sport sedans were made in Japan.

Over on Leg Central there was a guy who asked somebody at subaru about it. They couldn't even give him a straight answer. But I guess I'm in the majority either way with the auto:mad:

I have read over all the threads on Legacy Central. No one really seems to know. There have been countless debates over the years.
