Anybody know of any good u-pull it yards within about 30 minutes of Brattleboro VT? Might be looking to take my brother out for some good old fashioned fun!

Ahem. Anyway. I've heard there's a junkyard up near Hudson Falls that's nearly 95% Subaru's. Haven't been to it yet, though, or found out what it's name is.

 

Sure would like to find it, though... when I get enough time, I guess.

Well, I'm leaving at 9am tomorrow (wednesday) morning with a van full of crap to deliver to my brother. I'm probably heading home again saturday morning. We'll have some time to kill friday while his wife is at work so I thought it might be fun to run out to a junk yard to see what we find. I'm not looking for anything in particular, except my dad is now looking for a good alternator for his 91 Loyale wagon. I'll see how things go and maybe I can stop by saturday.

95% Subaru!!!! Have you heard if that's only older subarus or if there might be some newer ones like legacy and impreza in there? Could be worth the 1:30 drive from Brattleboro

Keep in mind, I heard it second-hand... haven't put too much interest in finding it yet, seein' as I haven't gotten that new Subie. I just did a search across google, and couldn't find it... ain't in the yellow pages, either, from what I can see.

Cahill sounds extremely familiar....with Subarus that it.I'll bet that's the one.Could make for a great meeting place someday.

That actually sounds like a great idea... I wonder if they give group discounts?

YEah, just like the_Bard said theres one just before Hudson Falls (Right side of road when youre headed towards Bennington. There is a pulloff right at the enterance that has about 10 wrecks in it beside the road at a time). I had the name and everything..hold on, I believe I posted all of the contact info over on nasioc.com about 1.5 years ago....let me go and try to find it!

 

THere is also a fairly large one in Vergennes that I ordered lots of stuff from a while ago, but I have since forgotten the name. Sorry, but at least it gives you an approximate area to search :-)

Their online inventory system is finally up, so I took a brose around it. They don't seem to have much in the way of Loyale stuff, but I'm going to give them a call regardless. One (or more) of these j/y's will have my attention come Thursday.
