OEM O2 sensor for 94 Legacy was Bosch!?!?

Featured Replies

Ordered a new O2 sensor for '94 Legacy Wagon....I was surprised to see it said Bosch, same as the one I took out. I thought they were all Denso?

The two sensors on my 1995 Impreza are Bosch. Perhaps in those days some other brands did not yet exist.

Bosch Makes that kind of stuff for many many companies... but im also sort of suprised that a more reputable and less problematic company from Japan didn't make them:-\ shoot i run NGK plugs in my vw :P

Dang... a SOA part number and everything. How much did that set you back? I bought a replacement O2 Sensor from Napa, it was bosch and I think i paid $33 for it.

I've used the "universal" wire in bosch o2's before with no problem at all. Used for about 10k miles before I sold the car earlier this year, not subaru but ya know...

What was your reason to replace the O2 sensor? bad fuel reading? and did you notice any change after replacement?

Cheers

CEL for bad 02 sensor, and I was getting about 20 mpg city in an Acura Integra. When I put in the new sensor it bumped it up to about 25 city, and the CEL went away.
