May 24, 200718 yr Why in gods name would you want to replace it? First thing I do with a new Subie is to unhook that infrernal thing! EA82s they are bolted to the back side of dash to the right of the steering column. 2 wires pink connector. Not sure about brats.
May 24, 200718 yr my god why lol if u look at the front of the dash there will be like a little vent deal its right behind thatthe vent looking thing is for the sound to get out i think its the same on brats my buddy pulled his out. but i know someone will tell me wrong :-\

May 24, 200718 yr Mine got a screwdriver through the middle of it! (sounds MUCH better now!) Mine ended up as roadkill in the DMV parking lot
May 25, 200718 yr In ea81 cars you'll have to remove the glove box door, then the inner section. Its held to the speaker mount with a screw. Unplug it and be done, no real need to remove it.
