I`m having trouble with the front braking system of my recently acquired 1982 subaru gl wagon, makes a lot of noise and the right front wheel brake keeps jamming, don`t know a clot of this car so if anyone be so kind to offer advice,,, many thanks:confused:

Step one, remove wheel and inspect brake.

Bet you need front brakes, and from the sounds of it possibly a stuck caliper or shot wheel bearing.

wait... what about wheel bearings... Im confused... Is this definatly a break problem because it does sound like a sticky VERY STICKY CALIPER

Besdies the car is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down there, and i'm up here. May be a combination of things, may just be pads.:-p

As long as he is there pulling off the wheel he should check everything.
