Well, it actually made it. GOt there and bled the brakes twice nad the brakes were ready. After 2 bottles of stop leak, the cooling system stabilized. After a QT of Lucas oil stabilizer, the oil leak was legal. I only got 2 runs in tho....i have both on video, but unfortunatly, the AWESOME launch wasent on tape for the second run. what a bummer. Ive got...one good pic. And a few others to show before the event.

 

Ive got the two vid files, they are 18mb each...if anyone is interested...I'll have to uploadthem somewhere. I dont ahve a place to do that.

I'll vouch for the launch! It made the legacy's look very very bland! lol.... I very much loved the 1st low to 1st high shift! lol....

Sweet! Was this the NASA event that was announced at the last CCR autocross?

 

I may do some RX autocrossing myself next season (though I'll probably stick to the 2.5RS for most events).

 

Unfortunately, my RX is an 86 (and thus part time 4WD). Maybe I can just launch it in 4WD then shift back into FWD before I hit the first turn...ROFL

Bumm, Geocities (aka Yahoo) won't let me view the pics in your first post. Saw the mpeg, looks cool, but looks like a lot of smoke on deceleration on the second lap.

The smoke was from coolant/oil leakage...that and I was turning 7500 on a few places.

Yep, that worked. I think I'm still waiting for th video to download.
