subaru ea82 1986 ?

Featured Replies

when did subaru come out with the ea82, im looking at an 85 brat and it has the older style turn signals, the clear faceted kind. are they good for lifting and off roading. if it does have the ea81. thanks for all your opinions.

brat != ea82, unless it was custom made. they all came with OHV engines.

All the brats from 82-87have an ea81 motor, the hatchbacks from 80-89 either have the ea71 or ea81 depending on trim level.

All other styles from 85+ have an ea82 variant, except of course the xt6.

brat = ea81, unless it was custom made. they all came with OHV engines.

Fixed, Tim

"!=" is the symbol commonly used for "not equal" in the geek world....

GD

thanks, gd. I often forget that people exist who wouldn't know this simple fact, because when i first saw the symbol the first thing thought was, "well, that is one good way to type a not equals sign on a keyboard...'' My apologies for my lack of clarity, it was thoughtless of me.

Just another notch in the "old guy" belt, but at least on a knowledge bases I'm not a geek:lol:   . Thanks for the tid-bit, Tim
