A rock cracked my windshield driving back home the other day. The damage is irreparable and will need a new windshield. Got a quote from 89glass.com at $279. Does this sound good? Can they reuse the windshield molding or will that be extra? Thanks

Just happened to my wifes care as well - 98 OBW. 400 for heated wiper area version, 200 for unheated version installed from Diamond Auto Glass. They did not say anything about moulding so I am assuming they will be re-using the existing moulding.

Had mine (heated) last year, about $400. installed. All the existiing moulding was re-used, but a few days later the top piece came flying off- They were easily able to re-seal it.
