My First Subaru

Featured Replies

I finally got my first car and it is a Subaru and i couldn't be happier. It's a 99 Outback with 130,000mi on it and it had a rebuilt engine put in about 15,000mi ago. I have been a member of the forum for a few weeks now but haven't done much posting, but it is nice to know that if something ever goes wrong with my Suby you guys will be here to help. You guys rock. :headbang:

And here it is.

My dad showed me this place, it use to be his Subaru but he bought a new 07 2.5i and sold me this one.

I like the handed down cars(even if you have to purchase them), you know the service history well. And in my case, you've done most of it, lol.

Yeah, my dad actually kept a book of everything he did to it and when he put in the new engine i helped with that.

Hey, you're one lucky guy, x 25. That's a good looking machine . . . and you know it like a member of the family!

Welcome aboard. Take good care of that vehicle and enjoy.

Its an auto. Beggers cant be choosers (atually, poor collage students cant be choosers :-\ ) Someday, when i have the time, evin though it is an auto waggon, i am going to try and auto-croos my Suby. but before i do that i need to give it a name.

I wish we did, but it has a CCR rebuilt 2.5 in it so i wont have any head gasket problems or anything to worry about.
