What is this plug for? The wires run to the a/c compressor and the alternator but I don't see what plugs into it.

 

 

The single green wire is what powers the A/C compressor clutch when you push the a/c button on.

 

I dont know where it plugs in though

You have dealer installed AC. That plug is only used for factory AC so it goes to nothing. You'll find lots of things like this in vehicle wiring harnesses if you really start looking.

Thanks. I have just finished a timing belt replacement and when I put everything back together couldn't figure out what the plug was for.
