Just curious.

As you know my wife was on bedrest so that left me with driveing the family grocery getter. Now that she has had the babies i will be driveing my subaru again. I havent driven it in about a month or better. What are some things i may need to check on. It leaks oil so i will be checking that but it is in dire need of an oil change as well.

Ben

I would turn the key and check if it starts or not.

if it does, then you have nothing to worry about.

if it doesn't, check the battery

Really, a month isnt long. Top the fuel tank off with fresh gas, top off the engine with oil and make sure there is still air in the tires.

the car should be just fine.

yeah, he's right.a month ain't notihn'.i've driven 'em out of fields after years.....and years....fresh gas helps alot.but i wouldn't worry about that on yours.just top it off like brian said.she'll be fine.

yea a month isnt too long, my friend just resurected a MPFI 85 GL-10 and it sat for like 2-3 years in a field, lol it started up quick too, leaks coolant.

If you're really worried about it I'll take it off your hands just to get it out of your way...

didnt you say you had alot of subarus already besides how would i get to work now. I took it to work yesterday. Drove pretty good thanks to the new ngk plugs and wires. I didnt even need to add oil. Was alittle hard to start though i had to give it alittle gas before it would start.

Ben

I've got a Brat and an '88 GL-10 turbo wagon that is sitting beside my garage looking forlorn...

Glad you got yours up and running again, I'm sure it's missed you!
