Well - the sunroof should be fairly easy to replace assuming you can find one. Pull down the headliner and it should be obvious...

The rear hatch glass is a bit more involved - for one thing the rear defroster is attached to it so there is wireing involved. It's not going to be fun - easier to just replace the entire hatch.

Strangely enough I think I have an EA82 wagon hatch in my parts right now. Assuming it hasn't gone to the crusher - but I'm pretty sure it's back by the shed. Complete with glass. It's silver. From a 92 Loyale. I would part with it for a rack of Rolling Rock if you are interested :). Might even be persuaded to help install it.

The sunroof is easy. Lots of them in our local yards.

Theres 2 plastic strips on each side with 2 screws each. Remove those.

Then theres 8 nuts that hold adjusting shims to the track and glass. Those get removed, then the glass will come out the top.

On some years, the WING WINDOW glass is a glued in unit. It may have to be ordered.

so, suppose I had a sliding sunroof cover that had come off its tracks... all I would need to remove is those strips and screws on the side, and I have exposed what I need to see to fix it?? Flexing the cover has NOT done the job to get it back where it belongs..

No, the cover is completely seperate of the glass. Its part of the headliner. You need to pull the sunvisors, rearview mirror and maybe the overhead/map lights. Then you need to pull the push in clips that hold the headliner (PITA). I also think the trim needs to be removed on the sides above the doors (more PITA).

Good luck.

shucks, thanks for the info.

Maybe I CAN flex it enough to get the stupid tabs in the right channel, and simply haven't tried hard enough yet.
