It was fun. Nose dive tore off the oil psi sending unit....again.

Seemed to nose down over most of the jumps?

 

Seems like that's going to continue to happen as long as the weight is all forward?

 

Have you thought about a Mega skid plate?

All my weight is on the nose too!

Actually it lands great, not considering the last jump. Off the large double it landed flat and great. The last jump i took slow, almost not slow enough, i didnt want to launch off that one so i opted for the nose dive.

Remote sender + dry sump + bash plate!!

 

Looks like fun.

is it a drysump or wet sump on the ea82? currently the front of my oil pan has the resembelence of my skid plate stamped into it.....not good.

I did this with my red Brat after busting 2 sender units....

 

All subaru engines that I know of have a wet sump. This means the oil sits in the sump. Dry sumps should only be 1" to 2" deep and have two hoses going to a remote tank with a pump.
