December 16, 200718 yr So I had this great idea to replace the T-belt tensioner bearings on Murphy, the $500 87 T-wag. I get the belt guide off the pulley, but the bearing is still on the shaft. So then I grab a wrench to use as a wedge and start hammering away. I see the wrench moving but not the bearing. I look closer. SURPRISE!!! The tensioner shaft IS part of the bearing and I bent the crap out of the whole thing! So now I'm off to the J-yard to find another tensioner pulley. What fun!
