December 17, 200718 yr How common are dual range sedans in the US? I have never personally seen one, but I think it would be sweet to have a lifted sedan.
December 17, 200718 yr my guess would be prolly about 2/3 as common as the d/r wagons. I have based this assumption on absolutely nothing Hope you find one -Bill
December 18, 200718 yr I know my Grandmother bought one new down in SoCal back in 88. Was really sweet and at the time always wondered what the D/r lever was. She got rid of it in the 90s before I got my license . I agree that a lifted sedan would be pretty sweet whether EA81 or 82 (would prefer 81 myself though). They are out their just not as common as the Wagons.
December 18, 200718 yr Scratch one from this earth. I recently traded it to a friends daughter who had it for a week and was rear ended. Her score is now one 2004 Focus, and one 1985 GL D/R Sedan.... Original CA car (feedback carb), No rust, Weber swapped, working AC, etc, etc Now it's dead . Oh well, I scavenged the D/R and the engine+Weber of course. So yes, they most definately existed. GD

GD They are quite prominent in offroad videos from Australia, I wasn't sure if they were availible here though.
