CEL after repair

Featured Replies

Ok, last week had my head gaskets, clutch, and other oil seals done in my 00 OBW. I've driven about 150 miles since I got it back and have been very pleased. Not leaking anything great performance. Tonight my CEL came on. No difference in performance sounds great, drives great. I've got 160,000 on the car and the oxygen sensors has never been replaced. I just changed the knock sensor last summer. Is it most likely the front oxygen sensor? I'm having it checked tommarow.

Wouldnt be surprised. get the codes read, and if anything O2 or catalyst comes up, look at the front O2 sensor.

yes, if the head gaskets were indeed blown and the vehicle was burning coolant....theres a chance that the coolant contaminated the O2 sensor.
