What have you towed with your subaru? How much did it weigh and how far did you tow it?

thanks...thats one hot thread

yeah, I posted about towing before I searched, then I searched and found that, oops!:Flame:

30 miles, mostly 45mph on snowy roads with snow falling and blowing and temp +10f trailer 5.5 x 10 loaded with deere 111h lawn tractor and 338 single stage snow blower, approx. combined 1,000 lbs pic later :)

Two years or so ago when my car wasnt lifted on tires, I towed a single axle flat bed trailer and a quad and gas cans at about 1500lbs from Olympia Wa to Florence Or. It was a long haul and It made it Just fine till the end. It had a hard time boosting for LOONG periods of time in the last 3 miles or so. I made someone else who didnt have a trailer bring it back

My shop builds custom hitches. Worked great.

my friend used his dads baja to tow his dads ford f350 in a mild grade uphill in snow.

I took an '84 Brat and pushed a '75 Ford F-100 4x4, 360 4-speed for like 4 miles. Over a couple small hills but left it in 3rd gear for the whole time (except for stopping at lights) until I got it to Hondasuck's house.
