What's the highest miles you've ever seen on a 2.2L ? I'm curious how long they can go without needing major work.

I've got close to 280 on mine, leaks a little oil but runs great.

93 Legacy auto, 301k on original engine and trans. Was mine, now belongs to a friend.

Ive got almost 218K on motor and tranny. Tranny is slipping a bit but motor still has a ton of life even though it leaks a little oil, hell, don't they all?

99' Legacy Wagon, 5 spd, 231K mi. Transmission was needlessly changed at 150K. Leaks some oil (no puddles under the car, though), still gives close to 30 MPG if driven gingerly.
