Cruising at 65 MPH, all trouble lights came on and stayed on?

Car still ran okay.

I have a guess but want to make sure I'm right.

I'm with you Junkie. Apparently I can't seem to find my voltage meter at 2am to verify. But I'm quite sure it's the alternator too.

It appears that the diode pack in your alternator has gone to electrical heaven......happened to me 3 months ago.

Is your voltmeter on the dash showing way aove normal?? I'm talking 16-18 volts. That what mine indicated. I put in my spare alternator - 20 minute job.

Don't put off replacing the alternator or you will end up paying for a tow truck and then doing the replacement.
