February 27, 200818 yr So i was thinking about my RX build and the OBS and I came up with a new acronym... S.M.U.R.F S.pirited M.U.lti-terrain R.ecreational F.lyer So... How S.M.U.R.Fy is your car? I think that one a scale of 1-10 my OBS is about a 5-6 It's somewhat spirited, has some strut bars and a thicker rear sway bar and WRX seats. definately multi-terrain, has forester lift high marks for recreational, rally cross capable. never let me down. low marks for being a flyer with the stock EJ22 motor. the FrankenBRAT is yet to be determined. Haven't really taken it too may places to tell. BW
February 28, 200818 yr Somewhere in the middle. I can get it to go just about anywhere I point it. (just about, gotta watch out for the really big stuff) It's a fun RallyCross machine. Gonna proly be a rockin' camping rig this summer. But it corners like a truck on flat tires on the pavement. hehe. And accelerates like the same truck. Pretty happy overall though. Good little multi use car. It's went through nasty mud, snow. Up sides of mountains over watermelon sized loose rocks. Hauled enough rocks out of the nearby quarry to have the rear suspension bottomed out all the way home. Ect. And did it all like it was just another day. Jack of all trades, master of none?
