Maybe one or two inchs extra in the front and then use the ability the rear DOJ's and no steering get you to crank those shafts.. but I'd just run larger tyres on the rear as well. A local guy here is running a 3.90 OBS 5spd transmission with a 4.44 rear diff. The 5spd has an open center so it wont FUBAR anything and with the different FD ratios he ends up with about a 41f/59r power split. good for pavement. Although diffs are made to differentiate they aren't ment to do it all the time. Spider gears will wear then break teeth off. If it is like every other EJ AWD trans I know of then it will have the VLSD and by now its probably cooked and not doing VLSD action anymore.
