i need some help badly! i can't figure out how to change the water pump/alternator v-belt and am feeling pretty stupid right now. can't find a tensioner pulley to loosen the belt and i can't seem to find the right size for anything.

but on the plus side i spent all day bonding with my soob. i now know that car inside and out, but ran out of time and money to finish everything i wanted. and i'm still baffled by the mystery sound coming from underneath the front of the car. but otherwise feeling a lot smarter than i did this morning before i started.

um a 10mm 12mm 14mm and 17mm will almost take that ru apart. i believe the tensioners are long 12mm studs on the right side just under the alternator it about 1 1/2" long. im kinda confused on how you cant find it:confused:  well if you cant find it and are getting :banghead: then loosen your alternator and go from there:rolleyes:

Alternator is the key. Loosen the right hand bolt on the main support and you might also have to loosen the one on the left just a tad, it should drop right down.
