I've been through some of it on horseback that would make killer trails for 4x4's. Time for an ultra-noob question: Could someone put up a pic of the angled blocks installed? I'm trying to picture this in my head but I don't think its right. So you would be installing the blocks so that they move the top of the strut towards the inner fender, correct? And because I have an '83 GL, I'd only have to do this to the front and then crank up the rear-end? :confused:

Granted I've never lifted/put bigger tires on, but why do you cut out behind the rear wheels when the front of the wheel is practically touching the back of the door? Car looks good, BTW.

well you might be able to talk to the autozone there in bayamon (love the store locator ) and see if they could special order some of that nite shades in for you.

this stuff is a tad on the pricey side, but works wonderfully: VHT Nite Shades

i really liked the look of their back bumpers. especially with the spare tire carrier and the jerry can holder. now someone in the USA needs to make something similar.

haha, i always thought that was only true for mopeds. i never got a pic of it but we rattle canned the roof and doors yellow and put taxi on both sides because all my friends kept asking for rides. that car was our "official" party car for about a year since we always packed it full of people and went to random parties throughout town.

first off, i'm kind of sad right now. i haven't been able to drive roo (my wagon) since the beginning of july and its been sitting at a friend's place over 1000 miles away. last time i was there roo was covered in a good layer of dust. just for kicks i tried to start her. of course she started up right away. now for the good news. i'm moving back to idaho and thus will have the chance to clean roo up and she can take over as my DD again. i think my friends are almost more excited than i am since this means we will have a vehicle to go to the mountains, haul skateboards, longboards, snowboards, skis, mountain bikes and hunting dogs with. not to mention all the other cool things that old subaru wagons are good for. the only thing i will miss about my current daily is the fuel mileage. but seeing as how i will be able to use a longboard for over half of my daily travels i think i'll be spending just about the same amount for fuel. (because i am from idaho and not a year-round warm state, i am used to using long boards/bikes during the winter unless it snows lol) so expect much improvement to roo over the next 6 months or so. and here's the car she'll be replacing. the plastic wonder that is a saturn lol:
